Receta Chicken Livers With Mushrooms

Ingredientes
- 1 pound chicken livers
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- Pepper to taste
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can mushrooms, stems and pcs
- 1 can chicken soup
Direcciones
- Place livers on wax paper. Sprinkle with salt and half the flour to coat. Heat butter in large frying pan, add in livers, onions, and mushrooms and saute 5-6 min, turning occasionally. Remove livers from frying pan.Blend remaining flour into fat in frying pan till smooth, then gradually add in soup, lowfat milk, and pepper. Cook gently 4-5 min, stirring to keep smooth. When thickened stir livers into sauce. Serve on buttered toast.
