- 1 c. SOUP GRAVY BASE BEEF
- 1 1/2 c. SHORTENING, 3LB
- 1/2 tsp PEPPER BLACK 1 LB CN
- 9 Tbsp. CHILI Pwdr

- 1. USE MELTED SHORTENING AND SIFTED GENERAL PURPOSE FLOUR. BLEND TOGETHER Till SMOOTH; COOK OVER LOW HEAT 2 Min. Add in CANNED TOMATO PASTE, CHILI Pwdr, AND 1 Grnd CUMIN; BLEND WELL.
- 2. Add in ROUX TO STOCK, STIRRING CONSTANTLY. BRING TO A BOIL; REDUCE HEAT; SIMMER 10 Min.
- 3. Add in PEPPER.
