Receta Chili With A Kick

Ingredientes
- 1 med. chopped onion
- 2 sm. cloves of chopped garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp. Southern Comfort
- 1/2 can beer
- 2 lbs. grnd sirloin
- Healthy pinch of salt
- Healthy pinch of sweet basil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- Healthy pinch of oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper, grnd
- 3/4 c. chili pwdr
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 1 lg. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp. Cajun seasoning
- 1 c. warm chunky salsa
Direcciones
- Saute/fry onions and garlic till tender add in grnd beef, brown then add in salt, and black pepper. Add in chili pwdr, stir in beer, tomato paste and sauce. Cook on medium heat for 10 min. After, add in sweet basil, oregano and brown sugar. Stirring constantly, add in stewed tomatoes, salsa, red pepper and Cajun spice. Cook for 30 min more on low heat. Just before serving (5 min) add in whiskey. Serve with bread crumbs to thicken at table.
