Receta Chilled Banana Custard

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Nonfat lowfat milk
- 1 whl egg
- 2 x Egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. Maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp. Whole-wheat pastry flour
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. Arrowroot
- 1 Tbsp. Apple juice or possibly water
- 2 lrg Bananas
Direcciones
- 1. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, heat lowfat milk till it steams.
- Remove from heat and pour into a mixing bowl.
- 2. In a separate bowl whisk together egg, egg yolks, and maple syrup till smooth. Add in flour and vanilla. Mix arrowroot with apple juice and add in to egg mix. Add in warm lowfat milk. Puree bananas in a blender, then add in to egg mix.
- 3. Return custard to pan and cook over medium-high heat, stirring, till thick. Pour into 8 dessert glasses and refrigeratein the refrigerator for 4 hrs before serving.
