Receta Chinese Pepper Steak

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 pound sirloin steak (1" thick)
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 lg. green peppers, sliced (2 1/2 c.)
- 4 green onions, cut in 1" pcs or possibly 1 lg. yellow onion, sliced
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 c. beef bouillon
- 1 (6 ounce.) can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cool water
Direcciones
- Cut steak into 1/8 inch thick slices. Heat oil in skillet or possibly wok. Add in garlic, salt, ginger and pepper. Saute/fry till garlic is golden brown. Add in steak slices, brown lightly for 2 min. Remove meat. Add in green peppers and onions; cook 3 min. Return beef to pan, add in soy sauce, sugar, bouillon, water chestnuts and cornstarch dissolved in cool water. Simmer about 2 min or possibly till sauce thickens. Serve over warm rice. Serves 6-8.
