Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. Packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Unsalted margarine
- 1 lrg Egg
- 1 c. Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 16 ounce Maraschino cherries, liquid removed & reserved
- 1/2 c. Chocolate chips
- 2 tsp Unsalted margarine
- 1 Tbsp. Reserved cherry liquid, approximately
Direcciones
- Cookies: Heat 1/2 c. chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. In a small bowl, beat brown sugar & 1/4 c. margarine till fluffy. Add in egg & melted choc. chips; mix well. Stir in flour & baking pwdr. For easier handling, chill for 10-15 min.
- Wrap 1 tsp of dough proportionately around each cherry to completely cover.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 350F 10-15 minutes or possibly till set.
- Remove from sheets & cold completely.
- Glaze: Heat the 1/2 c. chips & 2 tsp margarine over low heat till smooth, stirring constantly. Add in sufficient reserved maraschino cherry liquid till frosting is of desired dipping consistency; beat till smooth. Dip tops of cookies into glaze. Allow cookies to dry in a single layer on waxed paper.
