Ingredientes

  • 16 ounce chocolate sandwich cookies with fudge, crushed filling
  • 12 ounce semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. instant coffee pwdr
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 x Egg yolks, well beaten
  • 4 x Egg whites
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. heavy cream, whipped

Direcciones

  1. Press cookie crumbs into bottom of greased 9" spring form pan.
  2. Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees 10 min; cold.
  3. In top of double boiler, heat chocolate chips over warm, not boiling, water; blend in coffee pwdr, water and 1/2 c. sugar. Cold completely.
  4. Blend in egg yolks.
  5. Beat egg whites till soft peaks from; gradually add in remaining 1/2 c. sugar, beat till stiff.
  6. Mix in egg whites then whipped cream into chocolate mix.
  7. Spread proportionately over crumb crust. Cover and freeze overnight or possibly longer.
  8. To serve, defrost in refrigerator 8 hrs.
