Receta Chocolate Rolls
Takes awhile to make these but they sure are worth all the work in the end! You can make a big batch and freeze them for a quick snack! goes perfect with a cup of coffee or a glass of cold milk!
Ingredientes
- 1 tbsp. yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup veg oil or olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- flour
- filling:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- glaze:
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. butter
Direcciones
- mix all liquids
- add yeast and flour
- knead til smooth and soft dough
- let rise 1 hour
- roll out in 3 batches, into a rectangle
- put filling on
- roll up starting at wide end
- cut into rolls 3/4 inch thick
- bake at 350 til light brown
- put glaze on and enjoy
- Filling;
- bring to boil the margarine and 1/2 cup milk
- mix the rest of the ingredients
- add to hot milk mixyure heat til thick
- Glaze:
- mix all ingredients
- bring to boil, stirring constantly til thick
- cool and glaze
