Ingredientes
- 15 ounce Can Tomato Sauce (1 1/2 c.)
- 2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 x Med Tomato,cut in 1/2" cubes
- 1 x Med Green Pepper, minced
- 1 x Sm Sweet Red Pepper, minced
- 1 x Stalk celery, minced
- 1 x Clove Garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 x Cucumber, seeded & minced
- 1 x Scallion, minced
- 1/2 tsp Warm pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Direcciones
- GARNISH: Herbed Garlic Croutons, dollop of plain yogurt topped with finely chopped fresh chives, finely shredded lettuce, or possibly chopped parsley,(optional) In a med size mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar and honey. Stir in remaining ingredients. Top each serving with one of the above listed garnishes.
- Serve chilled.
- Makes 4-6 servings.
- VARIATIONS: - add in 2 Tablespoons minced fresh mint leaves; omit warm pepper sauce Serve with a substantial salad, and/or possibly a cheese platter.
