Receta CHUNKY SLASA
I like chunky salsa made with fresh veggies! A little hot and spicy with lots of flavor. This is real easy and fast to make and I promise you will get rave reviews at your next get together!!
Ingredientes
- 2 medium tomatioes
- 1/2 green pepper (use red or yellow for more color)
- 1/2 sweet onion (vadelia is my fav)
- 1 or 2 jalapeno peppers (to taste)
- Juice from 1 lime
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 Teaspoon of the following:
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Sea Salt
- Cumin
- Coarse raw sugar
- Black pepper
- Chili powder
Direcciones
- Chop tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic as small as you can.
- Take half of the tomatoes and blend to a juice like consistency.
- Add 1/3 to 1/2 of the other chopped veggies to tomatoes along with the lime juice and other dry ingredients and briefly blend again.
- Put in bowl then add the rest of the chopped tomatoes, peppers and onions to the blended mix.
- You are looking for a perfect blend of juice to chopped pieces that will easily stay on a salsa chip.
- Try this as laid out above. If you are not a fan of garlic, for example, then reduce or eliminate from the ingredient list. If you don't like something 'hot' then reduce the amount of the item.....experiment and make the recipe yours!
