Receta Cinnamon-Raisin Bread Pudding

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 quart. whole lowfat milk or possibly half-and-half
- 5 whole large eggs
- 6 slices cinnamon and raisins swirl bread (I use Birkholms Brand)
Direcciones
- Butter sides and bottom of baking dish. Tear bread in small pcs. Put in baking dish. Mix sugar, vanilla and lowfat milk together and bring to boiling point.In a bowl beat large eggs and gradually add in lowfat milk mix while stirring. Strain mix and take out all egg lumps. Pour mix over bread. Let set 5 min. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 min. Serve warm or possibly cold with whipped cream and/or fruit.
