Receta Clam And Corn Chowder (Alaskan)

Ingredientes
- 2 can (7 ounce.) chopped clams (1 pint)
- 3 slc bacon, minced
- 1 c. onion, minced
- 2 c. raw potato, diced
- 1 c. clam liquor and water
- 1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly other fat
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 dsh pepper
- 1/2 c. cracker crumbs (optional)
Direcciones
- Fry bacon till crisp; add in onion and cook till tender. Add in potatoes and liquid; simmer till potatoes are tender. Add in corn and lowfat milk.
- Thicken the mix with flour and fat that has been blended together. Add in seasonings and clams; simmer 5 min. Top with cracker crumbs. Serve warm.
