Receta Classic Beef Barley Soup

Ingredientes
- 2/3 c. pearl barley
- 1 1/2 lb grnd beef
- 1 med onion minced
- 1 x garlic clove chopped
- 4 x carrots diced
- 3 x celery ribs diced
- 1 can tomatoes - (28 ounce)
- 3 1/2 c. beef broth - (to 4 c.)
- 2 c. water
- 1 can tomato soup - (10 1/2 ounce) (optional)
- 1 x bay leaf
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Brown grnd beef, onion, and garlic in skillet. Transfer meat mix to crockpot; add in barley and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on HIGH 1 hour then on LOW for 5 to 6 hrs.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
