Ingredientes

  • 2 c. C.
  • 8 x Green New Mexican chiles, roasted, peeled, stems and Seeds removed, minced
  • 1 med Onion, minced
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 med Tomato, peeled and minced (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cumin (optional)
  • 2 c. Water

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry the onion and garlic in the oil till softened.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 min.
  3. Puree in blender for a smoother sauce. Eliminate the tomato for a "purist's" sauce.
