Receta Clotted Cream And Cinnamon Ice Cream

Ingredientes
- 1 x vanilla bean split
- 400 ml cream
- 1 x 400 milliliter full cream lowfat milk
- 6 x egg yolks
- 150 gm castor sugar
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 300 gm clotted cream
Direcciones
- Place the vanilla bean, cream and lowfat milk into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
- Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and cinnamon till pale and creamy, then slowly whisk into the cream mix till blended.
- Return the mix to a clean bowl and stand over a pot of simmering water, stirring constantly till the mix coats the back of a wooden spoon.
- Strain into a bowl and allow to cold. Stir in the clotted cream and churn according to manufacturers instructions. Alternatively, If you don't have an ice cream machine, pour the room temperataure mix into a stainless steel bowl and freeze, stirring every 2 hrs till hard.
