Receta Corn Flake Crunchie ( Cornflake Chidwa )

Ingredientes
- 600 gm plain cornflakes
- 6 Tbsp. pine nuts
- 4 Tbsp. minced dates
- 150 gm salted crisps crushed
- 6 Tbsp. cashew nuts
- 2 Tbsp. sunflower oil large healthy pinch asafoetida
- 1 tsp turmeric pwdr
- 1 tsp chilli pwdr
- 10 x curry leaves
- 2 tsp sugar salt
Direcciones
- Mix the cornflakes pine nuts dates crisps and cashew nuts.
- Heat the oil and add in the asafoetida turmeric chilli pwdr and curry leaves.
- Pour over the cornflake mix.
- Add in the sugar and salt and put the whole mix into a plastic bag.
- Shake it gently to blend all the ingredients.
- Store in an airtight jar for up to 3 months and use as required.
- Pine nuts add in texture to this easy to make popular snack which can be served with drinks or possibly eaten at teatime. As most of the ingredients are available ready made you can rustle it up in just a matter of min provided your pantry is well stocked.
