Receta Cornish Hens Glazed With Crystallized Ginger

Ingredientes
- 3 x Rock Cornish game hen
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh ginger root, chopped
- 1/4 c. Crystallized ginger, chopped
- 1/2 c. Plum sauce, or possibly duck sauce
- 1/4 c. Maple syrup
- 1/2 c. Dry sherry
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh ginger root, chopped
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Remove any excess fat from the hens, rinse, drain and pat dry. Rub hens insidde And out with salt and pepper. Stuff the cavity of each hen with 1 tsp of chopped ginger, rubbing the ginger all over the cavity. Place the hens on a roasting rack in the middle of the oven, roast for 15 min. Meanwhile combine the sauce ingredients. Brush the hens generously with barbeque sauce mix and bake for 45 min longer, brushing every 15 min with the BB-Q sauce, till golden and crisp. Pierce the thigh with a knife the juices should run clear. Slip hens in half and serve immediately.
