Receta Courgette Black Walnut Bars With Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. Grated courgette, well-liquid removed
- 2 lrg Large eggs
- 1 c. Sugar
- 3/4 c. Corn oil
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Allspice
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 c. Minced black walnuts
- 3 ounce Cream cheese, softened
- 2 c. Confectioner's sugar (+/-)
- 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1 dsh Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Direcciones
- Beat together the Large eggs, sugar & oil with a wooden spoon till well blended.
- Add in vanilla. Mix together the flour, baking pwdr & seasonings & stir into the egg mix. Ad courgette & nuts & mix well. Grease a 9x13 baking dish with oil & spread the mix in the pan. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for about 30 minutes. or possibly till top springs back when lightly pressed. Let cold completely on rack.
- For frosting: With mixer on medium speed, beat cream cheese til smooth.
- Beat in sugar & lowfat milk, adding just sufficient sugar til mix is spreadable.
- Stir in salt & vanilla. Spread frosting over cooled cake. Allow to set & then cut into bars.
