Receta Cowboy Hot Tamale Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 lb Lean grnd beef
- 1 lrg Onion, minced
- 1 tsp Garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp Seasoned salt
- 1 pkt Chili seasoning mix
- 1 lb Can of tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. Cooked whole kernel corn liquid removed
- 3 1/4 ounce Can pitted black olives liquid removed
- 1 c. Yellow cornmeal
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 c. Cool water
- 1/4 c. Minced canned pimiento
- 1 c. Shredded cheddar cheese
Direcciones
- 1. Brown grnd beef in skillet, breaking up meat with fork.
- 2. Add in seasonings and tomatoes; simmer 5 min.
- 3. Stir in corn and olives.
- 4. Combine cornmeal, salt and water; cook, stirring, till thick.
- 5. Add in pimento.
- 6. Line greased, shallow 2-qt baking dish with part of cornmeal mush.
- 7. Pour in beef mix and make a border of remaining mush around edge of baking dish.
- 8. Bake at 350 F about 40 min.
- 9. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 5 min longer.
