Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. fresh cranberries
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup (30 ounce), undrained
  • 8 c. sugar
  • 1 x pouch liquid pectin - (3 ounce)

Direcciones

  1. Finely chop the cranberries using a food processor.
  2. Place the cranberries and water in a large non-aluminum saucepan. Simmer over medium-low heat for 5 min. Add in the pineapple with its syrup and the sugar and stir well. Boil 2 min longer. Remove the pan from the heat and add in the pectin. Mix well and let stand 25 min.
  3. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal according to the instructions in the accompanying story.
  4. This recipe yields 10 (8-oz) jars.
  5. Yield: 10 half-pints
