  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c. instant rice uncooked
  • 4 x skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce.)
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. minced green pepper
  • 1 x clove garlic minced fine
  • 1/2 tsp dry basil
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Direcciones

  1. Combine 3/4 c. water and salt in a small sucepan. Bring to aboil. Remove from heat, stir in the rice, cover and let stand 5 minutes. Keep hot while you make the chicken.
  2. Coat a large nonstick skillet with vegetable oil cooking spray. Place over med. heat till warm. Add in the chicken and cook till brown and tender, about 10 to 12 minutes., turning once. Add in the tomato sauce, onion, green pepepr, garlic, basil, pepper, and 1/2 c. water. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat, and simmer 6 minutes., stirring occasionally. Serve with the rice.
