Receta Crockpot Apple Pie
This is a recipe from a friend. Have to try it so I can cut back on the sugars, as it is too carb heavy for me. But, I am sure it is as yummy as it is easy. Good for potluck!
Ingredientes
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 10 large apples
- 1 Tbsp. apple pie spice
- 2/3 cups old fashion oats
- 2/3 cups brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp. soft butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Direcciones
- Cut apples in wedges.
- Mix in sugar.
- Put into your crock pot (an oval 5 to 7 quart works best).
- Sprinkle with apple pie spice.
- In a bowl mix oats, brown sugar, flour cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Mix in the butter with your fingers.
- Sprinkle over the top.
- Turn crockpot on LOW 4 hours, or HIGH 2 hours.
- Once the apples are softened, turn off.
- The juice thickens somewhat as it cools, so it is good to take to a potluck.
