Receta Crunchy Granlola

Ingredientes
- 3 c. Rolled Oats -- *
- 1 c. Coconut -- * grated
- 1/2 c. Wheat Germ -- *
- 1 c. Nuts -- * minced
- 1 c. Rolled Wheat
- 1/2 c. Sunflower Seeds
- 1/2 c. Sesame Seeds
- 1/4 c. Margarine Or possibly Oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Water

- * Basic foundation ingredients; others may be omitted or possibly modified as desired.
- 1. Mix the nuts and grains (first 7 items) in a baking pan which is 9 x 13 inches or possibly larger.
- 2. Mix and heat in a saucepan the margarine, salt, brown sugar and water. Pour over the grain mix, blending well.
- 3. Bake in a 325 preheated oven for about 40 min till golden brown and crisp. Be careful not to burn.
- 4. Cold and store in a jar with a tight lid.
- NOTES: This is usually eaten with lowfat milk. Powdered lowfat milk may be added to the mix ahead of time to simplify preparation, and a little water added at meal time. Add in 1 1/2 c dry lowfat milk to 5 c. granola.
