Receta Crusty Garlic Bread

Ingredientes
- 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Minced fresh parsley
- 2 Tbsp. Minced fresh thyme -or possibly-
- 2 tsp Dry thyme
- 2 tsp Minced fresh marjoram -or possibly-
- 3/4 tsp Dry marjoram
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 2 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 sm Loaves (4-ounce each) Italian or possibly French bread
Direcciones
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine the garlic and oil; mix well.
- 2. In another small bowl, combine parsley, thyme, marjoram, and paprika.
- Add in Parmesan; mix well. Cut each loaf crosswise into diagonal slices, without cutting all the way through. Brush cut sides of slices with garlic oil. Sprinkle herb mix between slices. Wrap each loaf in foil; place on a baking sheet.
- 3. Bake till heated through, about 10-15 min. Unwrap the loaves and place them on a breadboard or possibly in a basket. Serve immediately. FREEZER: Follow the recipe through step 2, but wrap each loaf in plastic wrap and then in foil. Freeze for up to 1 month. To heat, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove foil and plastic wrap from loaves; rewrap in foil. Place on a baking sheet and bake till heated through, about 25-30 min.
