Receta Crusty Skillet Corn Bread

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Yellow corn meal
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 1/4 c. Buttermilk
- 2 slc Bacon
- 1/2 stk butter
Direcciones
- Mix all dry ingredients together. Stir Large eggs into buttermilk and add in to dry mix. Heat butter inside heavy iron skillet. Coat skillet with butter on all sides. Pour remaining butter from skillet into cornbread batter and mix thoroughly. Pour the cornbread batter into warm skillet and bake in a 375 degree oven. Cook bread till it has a golden crust (approximately 25-30 min).
