Receta Curly Cucumbers And Radish Salad

Ingredientes
- 10 x radishes
- 2 med seedless cucumbers
- 1 x fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and sliced into rings*
- 2 Tbsp. minced sorrel or possibly minced fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
Direcciones
- Set aside one whole radish for garnish. Thinly slice five of the remaining radishes. Cut rest of radishes into halves or possibly quarters. Use a vegetable peeler to cut thin lengthwise slices from cucumbers, discarding first slice. (You should have about 2 c..)
- WEAR GLOVES WHILE WORKING WITH PEPPERS
- In a bowl combine radish slices, halves, and quarters; cucumber ribbons; jalapeno pepper; sorrel; sugar; and salt. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and white wine vinegar. Toss gently to coat. Garnish with reserved whole radish.
- Makes 6side-dish servings.
- *Because jalapeno peppers contain oils which can burn your skin and eyes, avoid direct contact with them as much as possible. Wear plastic or possibly rubber gloves when working with jalapenos. If your bare hands do touch the peppers, wash your hands well with soap and water.
