  • 1 quart. sauerkraut (liquid removed)
  • 2 tbsp. veg. oil
  • 1 med. onion (minced)
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 quart. water (less if desired it thick)
  • 1/4 c. sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp. caraway seed

Direcciones

  1. Drain sauerkraut, set aside. Heat 2 Tbsp. oil in a large pot. Add in minced onion and cook till transparent. Add in flour and make a roux. Slowly add in Cool water. Heat.
  2. Add in sauerkraut after flour and water has cooked, then add in sugar and caraway seed. Cook for at least an hour.
