Name: Deluxe Buttercream Icing
Ingredients: 1 c. shortening; 1 lb confectioners sugar; 1/4 tsp salt; 1 tsp flavoring (vanilla, rum or possibly lemon, etc)); 1/4 c. whipping cream (1/4 to 1/2)

Ingredientes

1 c. shortening
1 lb confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp flavoring (vanilla, rum or possibly lemon, etc))
1/4 c. whipping cream (1/4 to 1/2)

Direcciones

Cream shortening till fluffy. Add in sugar and continue creaming till well blended. Add in salt, flavoring and whipping cream; blend on low speed till moistened. Beat at high speed till icing is fluffy.
Makes 3 3/4 c..
Option: Use 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. shortening instead of 1 c. shortening.
Makes for a more buttery taste.
