I tried this recipe with sugar free banana pudding without the dates(way too much sugar)and my husband said they tasted like banana biscuits. My son said it tasted like a banana RUNT(candy).
It took a lot more than 3TBSP of milk and about 20 to 25 minutes to get done. I used 1/4 to 1/3 cup of milk and still feel the dough was too thick.
(Could be why they too so long to cook.) My husband said he liked them and with a little tweaking, I'll probably make them again.
