Receta Dorset Apple Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. All purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 3 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 c. Unsalted butter, cut up
- 1/2 lb Cooking apples, peeled, - Cored and finely minced Egg
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Butter and flour 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 3/4 - inch loaf dish. Line bottom of dish with waxed paper. Butter and flour paper. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Sift flour, sugar and baking pwdr into large bowl.
- With a pastry blender or possibly knives, cut in butter till mix resembles fine meal. Toss minced apple in flour mix. Set aside. In small bowl, whish together egg and lowfat milk till blended. Stir into apple mix till mixed. (Batter will be stiff.) Spread batter proportionately in dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 min till skewer inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven. Cold on rack 10 min. Remove from dish.
- Cook on rack.
