- 1/2 lb Dry figs
- 1/2 lb Dry cranberries
- 2 c. Red wine
- 1/4 c. Lavender or possibly flavored honey Bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp Thyme Mint

- Add in figs to a saucepan with red wine and honey and cheesecloth with a selection of herbs. Bring to a simmer and cook, covered, for 45 min or possibly till really tender.
- Remove figs from saucepan, boil the liquid down till about more than half remains. Throw away spices in cheesecloth. Serve as is or possibly, spoon over vanilla sherbet or possibly ice lowfat milk.
