- Few Saffron strands
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 Cloves
- 1/2" Cinnamon stick
- 2-3 Cardamom pods
- 1 Medium sized onion, finely diced (Optional)
- 3/4 Cup Milk, divided (at room temperature)
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1 Tbsp Ghee | Clarified butter
- 1/2 Cup roughly coarse dry fruits & nuts ( cashews, raisins, almonds, walnuts, apricots etc...)
- 1 tsp Rose essence (optional)
- Salt to taste
