Ingredientes

  • 1 Cup Basmati Rice
  • Few Saffron strands
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1/2" Cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 Cardamom pods
  • 1 Medium sized onion, finely diced (Optional)
  • 3/4 Cup Milk, divided (at room temperature)
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp Ghee | Clarified butter
  • 1/2 Cup roughly coarse dry fruits & nuts ( cashews, raisins, almonds, walnuts, apricots etc...)
  • 1 tsp Rose essence (optional)
  • Salt to taste
