Receta Dutch Oven Swiss Steak

Ingredientes
- 2 pound round steak 1/2" thick
- Flour
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon MSG
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 c. water
Direcciones
- Tenderize steak. It may be cut into portions or possibly cooked whole. Rub in as much flour as the meat will hold. Brown steak on both sides in melted shortening. Use heavy skillet. Place in Dutch oven. Season with salt, pepper and MSG. Add in onion and celery. Pour water into skillet to dissolve drippings. Pour over steak. Cover and bake in 300 degree oven till tender, about 2 hrs.
