An Indian Milk Shake Recipe
A fiber rich fig and cashew healthy milkshake made with dried figs and raw cashews. Organic dried Calimyrna Figs make a great addition to this sweet fiber rich healthy milkshake. This quick milkshake has the option to be made vegan with your choice of milk, unsweetened oat milk being my currently favorite. Cashew and Fig Milkshake translates to Kaju Anjir Shake in Gujarati and makes a great treat or dessert option.

Ingredientes
- 2 whole dried figs (I use calimyrna figs)
- 15 whole cashews
- 1 tbsp sugar (regular granulated sugar)
- 8 oz milk of choice
Direcciones
- Place the figs in a bowl with enough water for them to be fully submerged and heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes (until they are soft).
- Put figs, cashews, sugar, and 4oz of milk in a blender and pulse on high for about 30 seconds.
- Add the remaining 4oz of milk and blend for an additional 10 seconds.
- Serve!
- Tip 1- add the shake to shot glasses for a fun mini dessert.
- Tip 2- drink it straight out of the blender! (I use a magic bullet to blend and it comes with ready to go cups.)
