Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. mashed fresh figs unpeeled
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice (optional)
  • 3 pkt strawberry gelatin - (3 ounce ea)

Direcciones

  1. Cook figs, sugar and lemon juice 5 to 7 min. Let stand overnight.
  2. Stir in gelatin. Boil again 3 to 4 min, stirring occasionally. Pour quickly into jars and seal at once, or possibly store in refrigerator if used within a month.
  3. This recipe yields 3 pints.
  4. Yield: 3 pints
