Receta Firehouse Hamburger Barbecue
Served at fairs and firehouse gatherings as well as church picnics and community events in Lancaster County, PA. The recipe is from Eva M. Koehler, my grandmother, of Lititz who served as a cook for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lititz Volunteer Fire Company No. 1.
Ingredientes
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 cup Chopped Onions
- 1/2 cup Chopped Bell Peppers
- 1/2 cup Chopped Celery
- 1 cup Tomato Paste or Sauce
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 2 tbs. Vinegar
- 1 tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbs. Sugar
Direcciones
- Brown Ground Beef and drain.
- Add all ingredients.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Serve on hamburger buns.
