  • 1 1/2 c. All purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg
  • 1 x Slightly beaten egg
  • 2/3 c. Margarine or possibly melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Grease twelve 2 1/2-inch muffin c.; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine flour, 1/2 c. sugar, the baking pwdr, nutmeg, and 1/8 tsp. salt. Make a well in the center. In a small bowl combine egg, lowfat milk, and 1/3 c. margarine. Add in to flour mix. Stir JUST Until MOISENED (batter should be lumpy).
  3. Spoon batter into prepared muffin c., filling each 2/3 full. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 min or possibly until golden brown. Meanwhile, combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon. Immediatly dip tops of muffins into remaining melted margarine, then into cinnamon-sugar mix. Serve hot.
  4. Makes 12 muffins.
