Receta Fresh Plum Chutney Ming Tsai

Ingredientes
- Canola oil or possibly spray
- 2 x red onions diced
- 1 Tbsp. chopped ginger
- 2 x chopped Thai bird chiles or possibly less to taste
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar or possibly more to taste
- 8 x plums, pitted peeled and diced
- 1/2 c. plum wine or possibly sherry Salt and black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- In a saucepan add in a little oil and caramelize onions with ginger. Add in chiles, sugar and plums. Season. Stir for 5 min then deglaze with wine. Simmer on low heat till most of the wine is evaporated. Check for seasoning.
- Makes about 1 c.: each 146 CALS, 1G FAT (7% CFF)
- NOTES : This is my kind of chutney - fresh! not stewed. not crystallized.
