Receta Fresh Shrimp in Tamarind Soup
I could never get enough of seafoods it seems. I like shrimp most of all. This is another recipe that my kid and I love. You give it a try once and you will like to do it again!
Ingredientes
- 1 kg shrimp
- 3 large raw tamarind fruit (or small pack tamarind mix)
- 6 pcs string beans
- 10 stalks of kangkong
- 3 pcs okra
- 3 long chilli
- 1 onion
- 3 pcs big tomato
- Fish sauce
- 4 cups of rice wash or water
- Salt to taste
Direcciones
- Boil tamarind fruit in water to soften.
- Extract the juices from the tamarind.
- In a deep pan or casserole, boil rice wash or water.
- Add the tamarind juice, onion, tomatoes and radish. let it boil and season with salt.
- Lower fire into medium heat and add the string beans, okra, green long chilli, kangkong and shrimp
- Simmer for 5-8 minutes or until the shrimp are done.
