Receta Fresh Tomato Soup With Basil (.5 Point)

Ingredientes
- Cooking Spray
- 4 1/2 c. minced seeded peeled tomato
- 3/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp chicken-flavored bouillon granules
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp freshly grnd pepper
- 1/3 c. finely minced fresh basil Basil springs optional
Direcciones
- 1. Coat a Dutch oven with cooking spray; place over medium heat till warm. Add in tomato, onion and celery; saute/fry 5 min or possibly till onion is tender. Add in water, bouillon granules, sugar, and pepper; bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 min, stirring occasionally.
- 2. Pour half of tomato mix into a blender or possibly food processor; process till smooth. Pour into a bowl. Repeat procedure with remaining tomato mix. Stir in minced basil; cover and chill. Garnish each serving with basil sprigs, if you like.
