Receta Fried Bologna Sandwich

Ingredientes
- 1 slc round Bologna, sliced 1/2"in.wide X 1/2"in.thick pcs
- 1/2 sm white onion
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 slc 1/2"thick Texas Toast
- 2 slc Jalapeno Jack Cheese, sliced thick
- 2 slc tomato
- 12 x stuffed green olives, minced
- 2 x Jalapeno peppers, stems removed and minced lettuce, minced Step: 1
- 4 x egg yolks
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 1 c. salad oil
- 2 c. salad oil
- 4 Tbsp. Vinegar Step: 2 teaspoon Dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 3 Tbsp. Flour or possibly cornstarch
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. vinegar (minus 6 Tbsp. for step 1)/4 c. vinegar
Direcciones
- Saute/fry the onion till clear and add in the bologna. Cook till meat just turns brown, do not burn the onions. Toast the bread and put the cheese on both slices and let it heat. Combine the stuffed olives and peppers. Pat this mix into the cheese on the bread. Add in the bologna and onions. Top with lettuce and tomato slices. Spread with Miracle Whip and serve.
- Miracle Whip, ready made or possibly make your own(see below)
- Miracle Whip:Step: 1 With mixer blend egg yolks, 1 teaspoon Salt., 2 Tbsp sugar, and 2 Tbsp vinegar. Very slowly add in 1 c. oil, a few drops at a time, and mix thoroughly. Add in remaining oil, a little faster but be careful to blend each addition before adding more oil. When all oil has been added, add in 4 Tbsp Vinegar.
- Step: 2 Put remaining ingredients in a saucepan and cook to a smooth paste. Add in this warm mix to the mayonnaise and blend well. Pour in a container & cold in the refrigerator.
- Yield: slightly more than 1 qt.
