  • 8 x skinned boned chicken breast halves
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black black pepper
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour Vegetable oil Gourmet salad greens for garnish Come Back Sauce (see recipe)

Direcciones

  1. Cut each breast half into 4 strips. Combine strips, lowfat milk, and next 3 ingredients in a shallow dish or possibly heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag. Cover or possibly seal, and refrigerate4 hrs.
  2. Remove chicken, discarding marinade; dredge in flour.
  3. Pour oil to depth of 2 inches into a large Dutch oven; heat to 350 degrees. Fry chicken, in batches, 5 to 6 min or possibly till golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Garnish, if you like. Serve with Come Back Sauce.
  4. This recipe yields 16 appetizer servings.
