- Combine oil and lowfat milk in medium bowl. Add in Fruitsource and blend well with mixer. Beat in Egg Replacer and vanilla. Sift flour into a small bowl. Sift again together with remaining dry ingredients. Fold into chocolate mix, stirring as little as possible till blended. Pour intogreased square pan and bake at 350 degrees about 20 min. Cold and thenfrost.
- NOTES : Fruitsource is a dry, natural sweetener put out by a confections company by the same name. It is made of dehydrated brown rice syrup and white grape juice. In the brownie recipe, I actually use half Fruitsource and half sucanat (evaporated whole cane juice), both that may be found in some, but unfortunately not all health food stores, often in bulk sections. If you are not concerned aboutrefined sugar consumption, you can easily substitute granulated white sugarin my recipe.
- I love these things, very rich, very gooey, taste like they're loaded with fat. Kinda different-tasting, I'm aware, if you're not already used to
- "health food," but nothing satisfies my craving for deep chocolate like these
