Receta Black And White Brownie Delights

Ingredientes
- Brownie
- 3/4 c. Flour
- 1/4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/3 c. Honey
- 2 Tbsp. Strong coffee
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 c. Chocolate chips
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Walnuts, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Coffee Rum, Kahlua or possibly amaretto Frosting
- 6 Tbsp. Butter, sofened
- 1 1/2 c. Confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Lowfat milk, (if needed) Chocolate Topping
- 1 c. Chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable shortening Almond slices, (optional)
Direcciones
- Sift together: flour, baking pwdr, salt. Set aside. In a saucepan, heat: honey, coffee, butter, choc chips. Stir often. Add in: 2 Large eggs, one at a time to saucepan. Mix well. Add in: flour mix to saucepan. Stir well. Add in: walnuts, minced to pan.
- Pour brownie mix into greased 8" x 8" pan, bottom lined w/greased wax paper. Bake in 325 oven for 25 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Brush brownie top with: coffee, rum, or possibly Kahlua (I used amaretto) Cold completely. Remove from pan. Set aside.
- Make frosting: Cream softened butter w/mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add in, very gradually, confectioners sugar till smooth. Add in flavoring for frosting: vanilla (I used amaretto to taste) If necessary, add in a little lowfat milk to make frosting smoother and more spreadable. Spread over cooled brownie. Chill until quite cool.
- Make chocolate topping: Heat chocolate chips, butter, and vegetable shortening in double boiler. Mix well. Pour over the layer of frosting. Spread proportionately.
- Sprinkle almond slices over top, if you like. Cold. Cut into small squares. (it's helpful to cut into pcs or possibly at least score chocolate layer*before* the chocolate is completely hardened.)
