Ingredientes
- Carrot- 1 kg
- Milk- 1 and a half Litres
- Green cardamoms - 8
- Ghee- 5 to 7 tbsp
- Sugar- 5 to 7 tbsp
- Raisins-2 tbsp
- Shredded almonds-1 tbsp
- Chopped dates-2 tbsp
Direcciones
- Do peeling and grating of carrots
- Simmer grated carrots in milk along with cardamom, waiting till the milk evaporates
- In a heavy pan, heat Ghee and add carrot mix
- For 10 to 15 minutes, cook this mix over a gentle flame
- Stir in sugar and resume cooking till Halwa assumes a deep red hue
- Add dry fruits and serve warm.
