Receta German Pepper Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 x Egg
- 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 c. All-purpose flour pn Salt
- 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Grnd white pepper
- 1/4 tsp Mixed Spice
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 x Finely grated lemon peel
- 2 Tbsp. Minced mixed candied peel Powdered sugar (opt)
Direcciones
- Whisk egg and granulated sugar till light and fluffy.
- Sift flour, salt, cinnamon, white pepper, Mixed Spice, cornstarch and baking pwdr into egg mix. Add in lemon peel and candied peel and stir well. Refrigerate1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350'F. (175'C.). Lightly grease several baking sheets. Form mix into 16 small balls and place well apart on baking sheets. Bake in preheated oven 20 min or possibly till well risen and lightly golden brown. Cold on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if you like. Store several days before serving to allow time for flavors to mellow.
