  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Unsifted flour Minced pistachio nuts

  5. Cream the butter til it looks almost white. Add in the sugar gradually and beat til the mix is very smooth and very creamy.
  6. Add in the flour gradually till a dough is formed, then knead by hand as flour is added. The dough remains very soft. If it is too soft to handle, add in just a bit more flour.
  7. Roll in pcs about 5 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Press ends together to make bracelets.
  8. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with the minced pistachio nuts.
  9. Bake for about 25 min. Watch carefully. They shouldn't brown at all.
  10. Even slight browning spoils the characteristic taste.
