Ingredientes
- 1 quart. buttermilk or possibly any sour lowfat milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 2 tbsp. melted shortening
- 4 c. whole wheat flour
- Sufficient white flour to make moderately stiff dough
Direcciones
- Pour into bread pans and let stand 1 hour. Bake 50 to 60 min in 350 degree oven. Raisins or possibly nutmeats may be added, if you like.
