  • 3/4 lbs. (3 cubes) butter
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 4 quarts. cubed dry bread
  • 2 quarts. lowfat milk or possibly more
  • 3 beaten Large eggs
  • 1 rounded teaspoon sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Boiled neck and giblets, deboned

Direcciones

  1. Heat 3/4 pounds of butter in skillet. Add in 1 large onion, minced fine. Cook till onion is transparent. Add in this to cubed bread, lowfat milk, beaten Large eggs, sage, salt, pepper, and cubed giblets. Stir till bread has softened, add in more lowfat milk, if needed.
  2. Mix must not be stiff, but sloppy. Test seasoning, will be more than needed for 1 large turkey. Bake remaining dressing in casserole dish 1 hour, covered part time.
